Yvonne, is Silvaco’s C.E.O., as well as Silvaco’s marketing, web design, social media and branding developer. She uses her experience in art, music and management to lead the brand of Silvaco in a contemporary, creative and innovative way.

Matthew, our C.O.O., is the innovator with his cutting edge ideas, assisting customers to get the products they need. He provides vast improvements for an overall more efficient business, while building a culture for future growth of success- not only for Silvaco Supply, but with all of the employees within our organization and clientele.

Christine brings nearly thirty years of expertise in warehouse management. She brings efficiency in expediting the receiving and shipping of goods, distribution, audit of inventory and detailed storage organization.
How Silvaco began
Have you ever heard of the saying, “Luck is when preparation meets opportunity”? In June of 2020, years of hard work, dedication and preparation met an opportunity of a lifetime.
In the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, the hospitality industry was turned upside-down. Forced to a halt, it’s future was unknown. Matthew Cavaco understood quickly that a huge change in product demands was happening. Instead of the items that made our tourists stay, he knew he had to focus on products that would allow our tourists back. Through his close personal contacts and reliable relationships, he was able to secure millions of P.P.E products for our Vegas valley casino floors and hotel guests.
As times grew more unsteady, businesses were slowly forced to ensure payments to distributors and vendors through cash and electronic transactions. This caused much stress within the city, penalizing companies and businesses who placed large P.P.E. orders without immediate payment.
Since Matthew had worked tirelessly to accumulate the contacts and business from this new product, he knew he wouldn’t let his hard work go to waste. Partnering with his wife, Yvonne, the Cavacos took their entire personal savings and invested in the largest P.P.E order that would service some of the businesses in immediate need. It was from this moment of opportunity that Silvaco was born.
Silvaco Supply continued to be a trusting provider to these businesses. In December 2021, Matthew and Yvonne were able to expand the product catalog to include disposables, janitorial and office supplies, as well as small wares and equipment. In February 2022, Silvaco signed it’s first least for a warehouse.
Silvaco Supply’s name was created as a hybrid of it’s owner’s names: Matthew and Yvonne Cavaco (a.k.a. Yvonne Silva).

The story of our first opportunity
During an unprecedented time in our world, businesses were in need of new products that they were once not required to have. Many were hard-pressed trying to source these goods for their company’s survival.
It was then, a customer was left scrambling to find goods that they had believed they already secured with another vendor. In that moment, Matthew decided to seize an opportunity. Working with Steve Levine at Action Products Worldwide and Joelle Snook, Corporate Director of Purchasing for Golden Entertainment, Silvaco Supply earned it’s first sale. It was the trust and faith built over 12 previous years, that Joelle extended that trust to Matthew, Yvonne and their brand-new company. It was the strong business relationship Matthew had acquired with Steve that allowed the Cavacos to take such a risk, especially at such an unprecedented time. Silvaco became reality for all the years that Matthew had been inspired to create and start his own business.
